Hello! Well, I am back for now, or at least a little while. I am currently doing an online photo class that requires me to get in the photos that I am taking. It is really good for me because as I look back at all the thousands of photos I have taken of my family, I am only in a handful. I want my kids to be able to one day look back through old photos and see me in their lives too. So here are a few of my 1st attempts at getting myself "in the picture" so to speak.
The class is by Willette and it is called "Finding Your Joy." - in case you were interested.

....or at least one of my "kid" joys. The other one was snoozing.

Here I am knitting the Spud and Chloe watermelon hat for my little Elise! In the background are some recently updated photos I took while at my parents' house. The girls love going there and getting to "run free" and explore. My dream home would involve 10 private acres somewhere with a pool of course.
And yes, I am more freckled than normal. I just got back from Mexico a few days ago. I know I look at myself in the mirror every day, but seeing myself zoomed in on my monitor was a little more of a wake-up call than I expected. I do really love being in the sun, but it has no love for your skin; wrinkles and age spots...bummer. Thank goodness for CS4"s patch tool; a quick fix for now, but I'll be getting some Botox later!

Love the new pictures :) I'm always so proud to brag on my "friend who's a photographer" You are so talented!! Someday when you are like Annie Lebowitz (without the financial problems) I will say "she used to take pictures of my kid!"
